Parks
  • Park Street Park - 5.58 acres with basketball courts, a baseball diamond and playground.

  • Martin Luther King Park - 1.5 acres with benches and sculptures, adjacent to City Hall.

  • Wright Park - a 1.9 acre green space with Veteran's memorial, adjacent to Plum Creek.

  • Spring Street Park - 12 acres of park and woodland.

  • Legion Field - 2.6 acres with ball field.

  • Depot Park - 4 acre playground and park area with immediate access to Bike Path.

  • Roadside Park - 5.7 acres of picnic area.

  • Parsons Road Upland Reservoir - 43.6 acres of water for fishing with adjacent picnic and sledding areas. Fishing is permitted at the Morgan Street Reservoir, Bill Long Nature Preserve and Parson’s Road Reservoir.  Boats are prohibited on all reservoirs except Parsons’ Road (non-motorized only).

  • Morgan Street Reservoir - 12.5 acres in two former water supply ponds used for fishing and sledding.

  • Bill Long Nature Preserve - 13 acre abandoned water supply, now a natural area.

Park Request Form

If you wish to make reservations for use of a park facility please fill out a Park Use Request Form. This form must be filled out and on file in the Recreation Office at 69 South Main Street at least five (5) days prior to your event.
