A Message from Oberlin's Assistant City Manager
Phase 1 construction is underway! The roof decking is complete (as of December 2011) and the sustainable roof tiles will be installed as soon as the weather returns to at least 45-degrees Fahrenheit (no later than April 30, 2012)! The brick masonry work will start early this spring and we anticipate the façade of this historic gasholder building will be completely rehabilitated to its original state by early summer!
While there is much work to be done, the progress has begun! For those of you who are interested in ensuring the Oberlin Underground Railroad Center & Park-and-Ride Project becomes a REALITY for the Oberlin community, by becoming more involved in this important project, please contact me at 440-775-7217.
Sincerely,
Darlene Colaso
