Eric R. Severs, Law Director
 Eric has been the City Council Appointed part-time Law Director since August of 1980. He was born and raised in Oberlin. He received a B.A. in Economics from Denison University in 1970 and his J.D. from Cleveland State University, Cleveland Marshall College of Law, in 1975. In addition to his Law Director duties, Mr. Severs maintains a private law practice in Oberlin.
Michelle Nedwick, Assistant Law Director and Chief Prosecutor
Michelle has been prosecuting with the City of Oberlin since March of 2004. She was a high school graduate of Elyria High School. She graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Education from The Ohio State University in 1990 and Summa cum Laude from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 1993. In addition to her prosecutorial duties, Ms. Nedwick is also an assistant law director with the City of Elyria.
Rhonda Cruz, Administrative Assistant
Rhonda has worked for the City of Oberlin Prosecutor’s office since July of 2006. She was a graduate of Grace Baptist High School. She worked for Lorain County Clerk of Courts as a Deputy Clerk from February of 1999 until July of 2004. From July 2004 to July 2006 she worked as an assistant to several attorneys prior to her employment with the City of Oberlin.
