Oberlin Municipal Light and Power System has created a menu of energy services. Energy services are efforts by the utility to increase the value of using electricity. These services were designed to help you improve power quality, conserve energy, and reduce your electric utility bill. OMLPS currently offers the following energy services:

Efficiency Smart

Efficiency Smart is a program of energy efficiency services offered to a network of public power communities who are members of American Municipal Power, Inc (AMP) based in Columbus, OH. The goal of the program is to assist residential, commercial , and industrial customers to lower their power bills by installing energy efficient equipment and systems. The program will also help to keep power bills lower for everyone by avoiding higher priced power in the future.

Efficiency Smart is a service organization that provides technical assistance to assess energy efficiency opportunities and financial incentives (including rebates) directly to customers to help lower the cost of making energy efficient improvements. We work with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to make it easier for you to find the products and services that will lower your power bills. We are a staff of energy specialists, engineers, customer service representatives and market specialists dedicated to serving you and your community to save money and energy.
