Fingerprinting

Fingerprinting for background checks through the State of Ohio (BCI) only, such as for teachers, healthcare workers, camp counselors, etc., are no longer done at the station but are now done through the Attorney General's WebCheck at other locations in the county.

Fingerprinting for background checks through either State of Ohio (BCI) and Federal agencies (FBI) or Federal agencies only may be done at the police station. Appointments are not needed, however you should contact our communications center at (440) 774-1061 in advance to ensure the printing area is available. Please be advised, you must provide proper identification (photo ID driver’s license, etc.) to be fingerprinted.
