Bill Long & Scott & Olivia Carson Nature Preserve
The 22-acre Nature Preserve includes a 13 acre reservoir built to supplement the City's water supply when the Water Treatment Plant was located on Morgan Street now maintained as a natural area. In 2001, the family of Scott and Olivia Carson donated 12 acres of woodland between the Bill Long Nature Preserve and Beech Street. Fishing is permitted in the reservoir; swimming and boating are not allowed.
