CAN I FISH IN THE OBERLIN RESERVOIRS?
Yes, you are allowed to fish in all Oberlin reservoirs.

CAN I ICE FISH IN THE RESERVOIRS?
No, ice fishing in not permitted.

DO I NEED A FISHING LICENSE TO FISH IN OBERLIN RESERVOIRS?
You need to have a current and updated Ohio Fishing License to fish in Parsons Road reservoir. You do not need a Ohio Fishing License to fish in all other reservoirs in the City of Oberlin.

CAN I PUT A BOAT IN THE OBERLIN RESERVOIRS?
Boats are prohibited on all reservoirs except Parson Road were electric motors are permitted only.

CAN I SWIM IN THE RESERVOIRS?
No, Swimming in the reservoirs is prohibited at all times.

IS ALCOHOL ALLOWED IN CITY PARKS?
No, alcohol is not permitted in any City parks.

DOES THE CITY OWN TAPPAN SQUARE?
No, Tappan Square is owned by Oberlin College.


CAN I RESERVE A CITY PARK FOR A BIRTHDAY PARTY, FAMILY BARBEQUE OR WEDDING?

Yes, City parks can be reserved by filling out a Park Use Application Form and turning it in to the Recreation Division. All City parks availability are on a first come, first serve basis.
