The Board hears and decides appeals resulting from any order or decision made by a city administrator officer in enforcing zoning ordinances. The board may also authorize zoning variances, provided they do not conflict with the public interest. For more information concerning the duties of ZBA please view the official charge below.
The Commission meets on as needed basis. Please refer to the City of Oberlin Calendar of Events for official dates. All meetings of the commission shall be open to the public. Public notice of a regularly scheduled or special meeting shall be made in accordance with applicable public meeting laws.
