The Commission serves as an advisory body to the Council on any and all questions concerning the operation and improvement of City recreation programs. For more information related to the official charge of the Recreation Commission please click here.
The Commission meets on the third Tuesday of each month on a bi-monthly basis (excluding summer months) at 7:00 p.m. Meetings are held at Oberlin City Hall, in Conference Room 2, located at 85 S. Main Street. Please refer to the City of Oberlin Calendar of Events for official dates. All meetings of the commission are open to the public and notification of regularly scheduled or special meetings are made in accordance with applicable Open Meetings Law
